Clinical research studies are being conducted to learn more about the use of an investigational study medication that is currently approved for use only in certain doses in some European and Asian countries for the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Etoricoxib is approved in more than 70 countries in Europe, Asia, Central America, South America, Africa, and New Zealand. It is not approved in the US. The AS Study will assess the safety and effectiveness of the investigational study medication for symptoms of AS.
